On-Foot Look at the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 "Jade Ash"

When Kanye West and adidas introduced the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 as the successor to the original adidas YEEZY BOOST 350, it seemed likely that a V3 may likely follow it. However, the adidas YEEZY squad has kept the V2 around as the line’s go-to everyday sneaker with alternates such as the CMPCT and 380 supporting it. For 2022, the silhouette has shown no sign of slowing down with new colorways and restocks throughout the year.

Now, following a first look at the colorway, the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Jade Ash” has surfaced on-foot. The iconic style returns with its Primeknit upper carrying a minty green hue that is contrasted by a black “SPLY-350” stripe on the lateral. Matching mint rope laces and a translucent sole enclosing a full-length BOOST unit rounds out the look.

A specific release date for the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Jade Ash” still has yet to be announced. For now, a November launch remains most likely at a price of $230 USD via adidas and select adidas YEEZY retailers. Take a closer look above and look for official images and a global release date to be shared in the coming weeks.

In other footwear news, the adidas YEEZY SLIDE has popped up in a “Granite” colorway that is slightly lighter in color than its “Onyx” predecessor.

The dark version of “Grey Orange” 350 V2 is exposed!

As the best-selling and most colorful shoe in the Yeezy series, each new color matching of Yeezy Boost 350 V2 is very topical.

This year Yeezy brought back a variety of classic color matching including “gray orange paint strips”, which made many loyal players make up for the regrets of the year.

A while ago, there was news that a dark version of the “grey orange” Yeezy 350 V2 new color matching is about to be released.

The design of the whole pair of shoes reverses the original dark gray of the shoe body, and becomes a design with dark gray as the main and light colored stripes.

The rubber that wraps the Boost in the sole is also deepened in color like the upper, which avoids the problem of oxidation.

The orange part is almost the same as before, and it looks more bright on the dark subject.

No other details have changed, and the upper does not seem to have a reflective effect at present.

The overall effect is similar to that of the classic gray orange after being dirty.

It is very worthwhile for those who are looking for more dirt resistance and who like gray oranges at the same time.

It is reported that the new adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Dark Beluga” will be officially released in the fall of 2022, priced at $230. We will continue to pay attention to the details of the subsequent release and bring the latest reports as soon as possible.

The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 is the fifth sneaker from the Kanye West collection. It is made from premium Primeknit material and Boost cushioning. The sneaker is known for its eye-catching aesthetic and versatility, enhanced comfort, and premium quality.

As expected, this sneaker comes at an expensive price. Nevertheless, sneakerheads still can’t do without the shoe. It is simply fashionable, appealing, aesthetically pleasing, and certainly belongs in any serious sneaker collection.

Many also see its purchase as an investment. Most of the time, the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 is sold in small quantities. Getting a pair here can be a challenge, especially on the release date for a retail price.

Material of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2

This iconic sneaker holds a variety of colourways. Neutral models highlighted by a rich stripe and the monochromatic cream white edition are considered the favourites par excellence.

They can be maximized and combined with different types of outfits. The colourful versions of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2, on the other hand, are a real eye-catcher in combination with simple casual or sportswear.

The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 offers lasting comfort and is equipped with a soft upper and well-cushioned sole. All in all, the shoe is incredibly lightweight and gets you through the day in full comfort.

The aforementioned aspects make the Yeezy 350 Boost v2 a reliable lifestyle sneaker that can be worn for travel and other activities. Wearing a Yeezy sneaker has already become a fashion statement.

Sneakerheads worldwide instantly recognise this shoe by the SPLY-350 lettering on the side. In addition, the Yeezy 350 Boost v2 is characterised by its strikingly shaped rubber outsole, which is translucent, flexible, and durable. The Boost unit offers energy-returning and responsive cushioning.

adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 and Its Fit

The breathable and stretchy material of this shoe, which consists of a thick one-piece Primeknit upper, stretches and moulds to the shape of the feet. Although it offers a sock-like fit, the inner cage still ensures a structured shape, as well as reliable support.

History of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2

What happens when a legendary footwear brand like adidas teams up with a versatile musician and a Grammy winner?

An explosive sneaker collaboration is to be expected, of course. In 2014, adidas, which as a brand, is always at the forefront of introducing new designs and footwear technologies, agreed to a long-term partnership with songwriter, producer, and now fashion designer Kanye West.

West has previously designed shoes for other fashion icons and global brands, including Nike. Although his partnership with Nike initially went well, it had to end prematurely because the brand could not grant him enough royalties. West describes this as “creative space” to design contemporary footwear. adidas, however, gladly gave in to Kanye West’s request and welcomed him on board.

Interestingly, in 2006, before the entire Yeezy line became a coveted sneaker collection, West designed a shoe for adidas that never came out. Nevertheless, West now had the opportunity to demonstrate his creativity through his new line, which became popularly known as the Yeezy.

The first version of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 was released worldwide on June 27th, 2015. The design came in the “Turtle Dove” colourway — a grey and white combination.

About two months later, on August 22nd, 2015, an all-black version was released in the “Pirate Black” colourway. Another rare colourway of the Yeezy 350 Boost is the “Moonrock”. This colourway was exclusively available at selected shops. Only stores that sold the first version of the Yeezy received the new rare colourways.

In 2016, the Yeezy “Pirate Black” was re-released with improvements to the heel padding. The Yeezy 350 Boost was also available in baby sizes in the “Turtle Dove” and “Pirate Black” colourways.

Over three years after the first adidas Yeezy release, the sneaker still retains its coveted status. Every shoe Kanye West has released has been immediately sold out.

By June 2017, six Yeezy models had already been released, including the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2. This model made its first appearance in the Yeezys Season 3 show and was released on September 24th, 2016.

This version had a larger Boost sole and a higher cut compared to its predecessor. It also became better known for the wordmark “SPLY-350” attached to the side of the shoe. A few versions later, the stripes and wordmark were swapped out for a more subtle design. adidas increased production numbers of the Yeezys in response to public demands. Despite the significant increase in production, the Yeezy 350 Boost v2 is still hard to come by. Fans have to endure long waiting times, whether they want to buy online or in shops.

New Yeezy 350 Boost v2 Colours

What makes the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 such an exciting sneaker are the unique colourways that are released and relaunched almost every season. The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 in the “Beluga” colourway, was first introduced with the third Yeezy release in September 2016. The Yeezy 350 remained almost unchanged except for some exterior changes. A different Primeknit pattern was used. Also, the heel tab was removed and the stripe was placed on the lateral side. adidas also released the Yeezy 350 “Beluga” with a translucent grey outsole and visible Boost cushioning.

Three new colourways were also released on November 23rd, 2016: the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Copper”, the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Green”, and the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Red”. These models feature all-black soles, a Primeknit upper, and a large coloured stripe with the “SPLY-350” wordmark on the lateral side.

The following month, the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Oreo” colourway was released with a Primeknit upper in black/core white and a white stripe on the lateral side.

The “Bred” colourway was released on February 11th, 2017. This version features the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 in black and red with a triple black colourway for the upper and the “SPLY-350” imbued in red. This design dispensed with the distinctive stripe and retained only the wordmark.

A week later, on February 25th, 2017, the “Zebra” colourway was released. The design was a hit… and was sold out immediately.

Another sought-after adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 model was the “Cream White” colourway. Its release date was April 29th, 2017.

The new colourways were sold at retail for US$220, but these prices quickly increased to double or even triple at some resellers.

Three new colourways were released in November and December 2017. The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Semi-Frozen Yellow” was released in limited quantities on November 18th, 2017. It was a real eye-catcher with its bright yellow Primeknit upper and rubber soles.

An updated adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Beluga 2.0” was released in large quantities a few days later on November 25th, 2017. On December 16th, 2017, a third colourway was released: the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 “Blue Tint”. These three new colourways had almost the same Primeknit patterns, removing the distinctive side stripes of the previous models and keeping only the wordmark “SPLY-350”. The retail price was USD 220.

On June 30th, 2018, a new colourway called the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 “Butter” was released. Needless to say, the shoe became a bestseller.

The re-release of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Cream White” on September 21st, 2018 was arguably the biggest release. Thousands of pairs of shoes were sold through retailers. Two months later, adidas also reintroduced the Yeezy 350 Boost v2 “Zebra”.

The Black Friday releases on November 23rd, 2018 saw the launch of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 “Sesame”. The new colourway featured a grey Primeknit upper with a white Boost midsole and a rubber outsole.

The most exciting colourway of the adidas Yeezy 350 Boosts v2 is the “Static” colourway. This was released on December 27th, 2018. The unique design features a grey and white reworked Primeknit material with a transparent monofilament side stripe in the woven upper. It sits on a Boost midsole with a white rubber sole.

A limited edition of the Yeezy 350 Boosts v2 “Static Reflective” were released in December 2018. The glow-in-the-dark design features reflective material embedded into the knit upper. This makes the sneakers glow when hit by light.

All Yeezy 350 releases in 2018 maintained the $220 price tag and immediately cost significantly more at some resellers.
